"And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested."

A WIDOW’S MITE
Our Community Service Project in Action

Meeting people in their need for  rehabilitation helps, especially the newly disabled.  We collect donated equipment and helping devices and give them free of charge to people on request.  We guide families in advocacy, linking them to services and serve as a local branch of the PA Assistive Technology Lending Library, making new items available to be tried before purchasing to see if they meet the persons need.  AWM provides emotional/spiritual comfort to families by serving the needs of the whole person—physically with rehabilitation helps—emotionally, with contentment that needs are being met, and spiritually by linking to our Department of Evangelism on request.
